TUPELO, Miss.—Nurse practitioners Treny Emison, CPNP-PC, and Danielle Woodruff, FNP-BC, are joining Children’s Clinic, which has locations in Tupelo and Ecru.

Both nurse practitioners were formerly affiliated with Ivancic Pediatric Clinic, which closed in May.

Treny Emison

Emison will see pediatric patients in both Tupelo and Ecru. A Pontotoc High School graduate, she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of North Alabama. She completed her master’s degree in nursing and nurse practitioner training at the University of South Alabama in 2005.

“I look forward to continuing the support and care for pediatric patients and their families in our community,” Emison said.

She and her husband, Barry, enjoy spending time with their three children and seven grandchildren—especially outdoors.

Anna Danielle Woodruff

Woodruff will see pediatric patients at the Tupelo clinic. A 2000 graduate of Biggersville High School, she earned her associate degree in nursing from Northeast Mississippi Community College. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of North Alabama.

Woodruff completed her master’s degree in nursing and nurse practitioner training at Union University in 2013.

“I chose a career in health care because of my passion for helping others and for my desire to make a positive impact in patients' lives,” Woodruff said.

She and her husband, Chris, have three children—Aidan, Grayson and Ella. Outside of work she enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking and playing a variety of sports with her family.

Children’s Clinic is a partnership between North Mississippi Medical Center and Children’s of Mississippi, the umbrella organization that includes all pediatric care affiliated with the University of Mississippi Medical Center, including Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson.
