TUPELO, Miss – North Mississippi Health Services is pleased to welcome Lauren Franks, FNP-C, to the care team at Garfield Clinic.

Franks graduated from Mississippi University for Women in 2015 and went on to earn her master’s degree in science in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2018. She also completed the Advanced Practice Clinician Fellowship at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo.

“We are thrilled to have Lauren join our talented team at Garfield Clinic,” said David Barber, president of North Mississippi Medical Clinics. “Her enthusiasm for helping patients and her commitment to excellent care reflect the values we hold across all NMHS clinics.”

A board-certified family nurse practitioner, Franks brings strong clinical training and a passion for helping others feel their best. She is dedicated to providing care with compassion, support and a smile.

“I have a passion for helping others,” she said. “It gives me a great sense of accomplishment when I see someone smile once they are feeling better after being sick.”

Franks is also grateful for the sense of community and connection she’s found within NMHS. “I enjoy feeling like I have a family at work.”
